The Miss America Scholarship Program winners attend WOW meeting

At our last monthly WOW meeting, our members were able meet and greet the titleholders of the 2015 Miss West Oahu scholarship program. From left to right is, Mister West Oahu Aidan Kaleohanohano Correia, Miss West Oahu Moanikeala FiaFia Silva, Amber Amoe, Miss Mauna Ka'ala Mariah Akau, and Mister Mauna Ka'ala Emil Muraoka. This program is a preliminary to Miss Hawaii and Miss America. Each of the titleholders talked to us about their individual platforms and their commitment to positive change in our society through community service and pursuing higher education. In turn, several of our members shared their thoughts and accomplishments with them. It was a real pleasure to meet and "talk story" with these energetic youths! We wish them future success and good luck to all at the Miss Hawaii pageant on May 30th on OC16!
